For all those interested...I have an old Samantha and she had barely any hair left after years of being loved. I didn't want to replace the whole wig because I want to keep her as original as possible.
I went to my local doll store and bought a wig identical to her hair color and then hand-sewed each strip of hair into her existing wig. It took hours, but she looks beautiful.
I thought it might be interesting to those of you who really don't want to re-wig, but still want your doll to have hair.
My fried saw what I did and she is bringing me her Kirsten tomorrow!
This is my first album, so I hope you all enjoy it!

Awesome job, she looks great! Im glad that you were able to find a way to fill out her hair and not get rid of her old wig! BTW, how long did you let her hair soak in the wig shampoo and downey dunk?

Shampoo was about 5 minutes and the Downy Dunk was three hours (I suggest watching a really long movie to kill time)

You did a beautiful job. It was nice that you could restore the hair without changing the original look of her light brown hair. It was a bit creepy to see Samantha's head only with the hair soaking in the vase!!!
